Vitoflame 100 Chassis burner

Had a service call on a Vitola 200 with a Vitoflame 100 Chassis burner, found the burner running with no flame and oil coming out of the chamber. In all my years of service I have never have seen this before, after cleaning up the oil (big mess) I tested the control and it shut down every time I removed and blocked the Cad cell. I am not going to put this boiler back in service until I obtain a new primary control. Has anyone experienced this before with this burner ? Thanks for any input.

    I’ve installed a few chassis’s in my day, that’s a new one

    I agree, get a new primary control on there and word your invoice carefully. Next step is a new burner (if it happens again)
