I installed 34gal Polaris water heater on 2002, it has been run for past 16 years, now the issue is the ignite element fail within a month (on 2ndreplaced). I touch finger through small open of the white insulation felt little-wet wall on SS tank. My question: how to check the tank is the leak? any way to test or verify the IGN controller? over current drive to the ignition element? new ignition resistance cross measure about 82ohm. , remeasure after a month installs, meter readout 101 ohm.. odes it normal... any suggestions for diagnose this issue would be greatly appreciated.. PLEASE HELP. thx
