Thermostat Temperature

Hi all!

I'm just curious as to the average temperature that individuals keep their thermostat at for their steam system? Is there an optimum temperature that the thermostat should be left when heating with steam? Also, what are your opinions on temperature cut backs? Do you think that it is worth cutting back the temperature when you are away for multiple hours when heating with steam?

    Use the temperature you like.

    Personal preference, thermostat location etc all have an effect.

    Most are going to tell you no setbacks.

    Keep in mind that the most efficient setting is off.
