Hi I just order this to monitor my oil level, I was wondering if anybody else has one and how it is working for you?

That’s a lot of money when you can get an automatic delivery oil company to worry about it for nothing

I think it might be great for remote monitoring-like a tank in a crawl space, or a locked basement in an apartment setting.
I just worry about it being installed correctly so there isn't a fuel spill.
This is probably the future. These products are out there for commercial tanks. I'd suspect the future will be everyone has a tank monitor, and the oil companies can come out and delivery when you are at 5-10 days before run out.
They just aren't cheap enough yet for an oil company to put one on every tank, then have to go retrieve it if a customer switches companies or moves. Or convince a customer to buy it outright. I doubt you could get access to the house. I also imagine a scenario where it gets hacked and the hacking oil company call the customer when they are close to needing a delivery to try to steal the customer.

I do pretty well with my modified Degree Day program I created and use with my customers, but knowing exactly how much is in each tank would be the ticket.

I just think that particular one is overpriced junk.

There was an error rendering this rich post.
