    68 F and below legionellae will survive but are dormant.
    68 - 122 F is the legionellae growth stage.
    122 F and above will survive but will not reproduce.
    140 F the bacteria will survive for 32 minutes.
    151 F the bacteria will survive for not more than 2 minutes.
    158 F and above is the disinfection temperature.
