Any one heard of this? Solar heating system with no high temperature storage needed...

Pipe lines moving liquid heat from the equator to the higher latitudes.
Wonder if the effect can be reversed for air conditioning on the return pipeline.

It is great to see some more R&D in solar thermal. Things haven't changed much in the industry over the last 20 yrs. PV is sexy and has taken over the market. PV has the storage issue currently dealt with because of grid tie. Off grid/battery storage systems are still a challenge.
This seems to address a major fault of the current thermal storage. Daily harvest is great for DHW but not for space heating. When you need the heat the most the outside environmental conditions are least favorable for production.
Seasonal storage has always interest me but alot to figure out with a buried insulated tank and S/R tap locations, yet still only providing a fraction of the yearly heating requirement. Wish we would make america great again and reinvent our nation as the alternative energy leader. So much energy potential to feed our fossil fuel hungry world

The heat storage molecule is made of carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen, no exotic materials.
This is a massive energy break through.

We’ll get there, it’s politally induced baby steps though. Painfully slower than it could be..........the technology is there more than we know. It’s unleashing hurts certain energy markets. We wouldn’t want that now would we. You know competition. Kind of like when electricity coupled with the incandescent light bulb threatened the gas, and kerosene industry.
