I'm looking to control a reheat coil in ductwork after an ERV. This would be if the supply air from the ERV drops below say 55 degrees. Coil is 60,000 btu water.
I was looking at a 3 wire floating valve and a Honeywell PID controller, but have been intrested in a simple non-electric TRV idea, much less money too. Remote bulb in duct after coil, head set to 55F and let it go.
I was told however that it wouldn't last the test of time. I have no experience with this type of setup so I'm asking here.
Looking at Honeywell V110E1012 valve and T100F1395 actuator.
