@NY_Rob my design is based on the Sterling Heattrim Plus on 2 floors (output table posted above), and the standard Heatrim on the top level which has lower heat loss.NY_Rob said:^ is your design based on HE2 or conventional fin-tube?
Curious as to the heatloss/sqFt of a new build modern home?
My 1960's 2x4 construction home comes in between 15-20 BTU/SqFt.
My house is a 1965 split, 2x4 construction, but it was built with electric heat, so a lot of attention was paid to insulation, doors and windows. Design spreadsheet is attached.
