The UL Standards Technical Panel 103 has formed a task group to investigate the appropriate venting listing for condensing oil fired boilers and dual fuel gas/oil condensing boilers. We are considering including optional sections to UL 1738 for condensing positive vent pressure appliances. Anyone with information on mfrs., problems, typical venting applications, exhaust temps, condensation issues, etc. are asked to forward information.
