Upstream/Downstream Piping for Hydro Sep

Hi All,
I am installing a radiant system using a hydraulic separator, and am not sure about upstream and downstream spacing between elbows and circulators. I want my system to turn this corner in the picture so that the distribution manifold can be mounted on the facing wall. I think I read somewhere that hyrdaulic separators do not need a specific amount of straight piping before their connections, and do not need a specific amount of straight piping between the separator and a circulator. Assuming my boiler circulator is under or to the right side of the boiler with proper upstream and downstream spacing between any turns, can I turn the corner and immediately install the hydraulic separator followed by the system circulator?
Thanks!
