Replaced boiler return - any special way to fill??

Typical procrastinator - I cut the return back in May, and pushed off repiping it until this past week.. Luckily temperatures held up. Any special way to refill the boiler?? Just wondering about oxygenated water heading directly into the return and causing rust right away. Thanks!

Nope. Just fill slowly in case you have a leak. Once you start steaming you'll take care of the oxygenated water.New England SteamWorks

Your water feeder may engage, as your water will not return until the line is filled. But that will prime the piping with water that has been boiled.0
