Written comments must be received by November 15, 2018. EPA will hold a public hearing on or before October 16, 2018. The hearing will be held in Washington, DC. More details concerning the hearing can be found at www.epa.gov/section608. Submit your comments, identified by Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OAR-2017-0629, at www.regulations.gov. Follow the online instructions for submitting comments. Once submitted, comments cannot be edited or removed from Regulations.gov.
They claim that removing these regulations will relieve corporations of the burdensome cost associated with doing the right thing, which is first and foremost protecting the people and the environment, just ask anyone who's had cancer rip through their family or lived near a factory that spewed toxins in the air and water which killed their kids how they feel about it. Corporate profits are not the number 1 issue, corporations will never hire more people than the bare minimum they need, the science behind all regulations is solid, regulations were not invented to hurt businesses, they are responses to irresponsible practices that already caused damage.3
