in Oil Heating
I have a 3yr old Biasi B10-4 w a F3-40. Has run great till now. The flame drops and then it restarts does this a few times and locks out. Upon reset it acts the same. It finally proves and stays running. I’ve set the pump pressure to 170psi and have a .60 60*W nozzle. I’ve changed the oil line, have a spin on oil filter. I changed the solenoid thinking that will be the easy fix. No. Changed the control and it worked for a few months but it’s back. Thoughts?

How long before flame failure?
Have you done a combustion test to see where your at or it doesn't run long enough to test?
If you set the air and turbulator to the book, that's just a starting point. Adjustments must be done with an analyzer.
Does it have the hydraulic air gate? If it opens during pre purge, its getting oil to the fuel pump.
Describe the sequence of the cycle and recycle before lockout.0 -
Using the smoke tester , see if you can cut the air down a bit..

Cut the air back and do a smoke test, want "0" smoke , then close shutter a bit, to much air and flame will walk of the retention head and do what your describing0
