Drop out pressure for venters

Thank you to All Steamed Up for your help with my rad venter question,
very gracious. I sent an email to one supplier and I received an email ,in all earnestness I am sure. He asked me what is drop out pressure. So .I explained it ,and so far I have not gotten a reply? So, I sent an email to Gorton and they finally gave me the information I need. They say ,and since they make venters, I am sure they are correct the drop out pressure is any flucuation of the pressure up to 3 psig. Interestingly, they said above 3 psig the drop out should be .5 psig. So Dan is correct as usual ,I am going to follow the .5 psig rule for single pipe. I never imagined such an simple question would lead to 12 emails to various mfgt. I would also like to thank Maid of Mist for their terriable customer service ,keep it up. you are a market genius.
