Two stage gas valve conversion
The Steam Whisperer

I am looking at at 630,000 input atmospheric boiler on which I want to install a two stage gas valve. I know I have seen some before which looked like they would work well, but can't find the info. I know some of you guys have installed them,....what did you use and how did they do? IIRC many had a fixed low rate ( 1.7" WC or about 75% capacity) which would work fine for this app. I think the factory step opening valve on these models are 1.7 step and 3.5 full fire.
Thanks for your help
