How pumps can cause air problems in hot-water heating systems

This being the time of year of many graduations, my thoughts naturally turn to higher education, brought to most of us through the School of Hard Knocks, and at great expense. Some of us, however, take the courses, pay the tuition, and won't learn.

I used to have a neighbor like that. Born with the sum of human knowledge and magnificently hard-headed.

Sounds eerily familiar, I think Smokey has family in my neighborhood. Thanks for sharing

Sad part is, there are a lot of Smokey’s on YouTube teaching people Plumbing and heating. It’s great for a good laugh though

    P. S. I wish there was a picture of that install XD

    This is a classic story!
Hysterical! I want to act this out in the classroom like a play. It has all the makings of a short comedy with education and training thoughtfully mixed in. Maybe an animated film. I could see Smokey in my mind's eye. I've worked with a couple of Smokeys over the years.

    Dan's creativeness is magnificent!

Great information, but the Smokey embellishment was very distracting.

I read this before, but it was fun reading it again. I knew a plumber that smoked like a chimney and didn't believe in reaming his pipes. It takes too much time. He's dead now from lung cancer at a young age. A shame.
