Serial# BM64314, Model# WH 7L 7P, 41 gal. Called Amtrol left message... any help would be great. It is not a 2014.

My old Amtrol Boilermate's serial number was BM01475, and it was manufactured on July 7th of '98 according to them. (I think the letters are what they used to signify the month and year of manufacture, then again the "BM" could mean Boiler Mate).
It leaked after 17 years of service so I replaced it 3 years ago with a Lochinvar Squire and have been very happy with it.

Amtrol called back and it was made on 9-6-96. I am the original owner. I built my house in 1996. The first identical unit crapped out and was replaced within 1 year with this unit. The first tank sprung a leak on the top and was pissing water on the floor. Obviously under warranty but still had to pay $300.00 in labor to replace. It still works fine. Looking to change from oil furnace to propane. Thanks for the responses.0
