Any way to determine the manufacture date of this boiler? Plate on unit does not have a serial number. I'm guessing it's about 30 years old, but not certain. Attached Beckett burner was manufactured in December 1987. We're not original owners. Thank you.

Trianco is now Laars. If you take the top off, there might be a stamping between the flue collector and the front of the jacket. In any case, it's a builders special steel boiler. Probably time to upgrade.

These normally were sold as package units and I would assume the burner is original so boiler and burner are equal in age. I also believe that Trianco sold to Laars in the 90's but not sure about that time period.
