Vacuum gauge on tigerloop was creeping up too 7 inches of Hg.
Water separator filter installed Sept 2017, changed today Feb 14 2018. When boiler fired up vacuum reading is 0 inches through out the burn cycle. The 2 following 10 micron filters were installed in 2016 and still have not been changed.

There seem to be three of the same filters in series .. Yes only the first one would get dirty , The last two will do nothing... In parriell would make an bigger filter . Finer filters down stream .. Best off moving one by the tank to cover the oil line ... The fire-o-matic safety valve should be before any rubber gasket not after.. ,
I have enough experience to know , that I dont know it all

@Big Ed first filter is a water separator and yes it was very dirty when I removed it. The following 2 are 10 micron filters. thanks for the heads up on the fire-o-matic , will move it when the heating season is over.
