New book by Jacob Myron

I took the plunge and added to my library with Jacob Myrons book. My wife says at least I am not buying porn. Considering I buy a book a month. This book reads like a non technical book you cannot wait to turn the page. Jacob and Dan have that unique abilty to take what should be a dry subjet -- unless of course you are a heating geek like us-- and make it human. So many books I have read authored by Engineers while technically solid they are so dry they make reading them except to answer a question , lets say difficult. I have nothing against Engineers my eldest son is an electrical engineer and he tells me even he finds some engineering texts brutal to read. I am not a little bit envious someone who as far as I know has no formal education as a wrtier is so excellent. Dan and Jacob make the world of heating a history lession as well as a technical book of real value. Do your library a favour and get Jacobs book and while you are ar it buy the books you do not have written by Dan, so far Dan has made me a steam heating consultant for very old steam systems the latest 105 year old apartment house, so much to read and so little time who in the has time for the idiot box or what some people call TV? All the best Jack

I enjoyed Jacob's book. He makes you feel like you are in the boiler rooms of those buildings with him. He is one smart fellow.
