Viessmann kw10b control with out door reset

I have a viessmann vr1 with this control. Although outdoor reset is installed, I do not think it ever worked. Boiler runs at 170 all the time . This is the default adj high cut out setting. I turned on jumper 6 on s6 block but no difference. Something seems to override this setting. Heating slope is set to 1.2 and wwso at 70. System runs on oil with 4 zones and indirect tank. 2 circulator, one for dhw and one for heat, hot water baseboard.

Many thanks

10 years ago I had some familiarity with this control. I hope a long time Viessman guy can chime in to help you, yet I’m not sure how many KW10 controls ever make it out to the US market ( I don’t think it was their most popular control ).

Maybe it’s a simple wiring glitch. Maybe the TT from your zones are trying to tell the boiler to make hot water (indirect water heater)
