Weil McClain Controller 1013-200 and Outdoor Temp Sensor

Hi All,
Last year I replaced my original HEII boiler controller because of intermittent hang-ups- cycling the power would
get it going but that becomes tiresome.
The new controller 1013-200 has a two pin connector that I believes mates with a outdoor temp sensor.
Has anyone tried using the Weil McClain kit 381-356-586 with this new controller on a boiler of this vintage
so the system will adjust the loop temperature based on outdoor temp?
Regards,
Ray
