Hello, I have a a 16" square concrete chimney with an 8" round center built in 1950 with no terra cotta liner running up through the center of a 2 story cape. Does anyone know if I will be required to install a stainless liner for my new boiler installation to pass inspection in New Jersey if I am staying with oil? Thanks and please forgive me if this topic has been covered before as I am a new member

Can't say for New Jersey but in Omaha Yes. Even if there was a liner may still need new liner depends on size of liner, if that's not confusing.0
