Can someone explain how the Honywell switching relay works on a steam system with Baseboard hotwater in the basement coming out of the steam boiler

What relay is it? There should be a number on it somewhere, lots of different variations on the 'honeywell switching relay'0

my guess is that you have an aquastat relay that fires the boiler until it reaches 180 or 190 degrees, and also turns on a pump for the baseboard zone.
