When you are quoting a job where you are going to install a condensing boiler do you give your potential customers an option?

Do you quote a condensing gas boiler with an IDWH plus a second quote of a condensing combi boiler?

What brand is your go to condensing boiler only and what is your preference in IDWH?

What brand is your go to condensing combi boiler?

Why do you prefer the brand condensing boiler, IDWH and condensing combi boilers that you are using?

What are you using to vent these condensing units?
PVC pipe and fittings.
CPVC pipe and fittings.
Polypropylene pipe and fittings like Innoflue.

Anyone venting up an old chimney as an chase with the plastic chimney liner kits?

Any brand units that you used in the past that you are not using anymore?

This would be a good time for someone to write a very simple one page description of the difference between IDWH, Combi, condensing, and cast iron boilers. If the draft were on the website, then it could be modified to include any additional information needed by the installer, for this application, and could be given to the homeowner at the initial meeting. Having HeatingHelp on the heading would give it an additional air of independent authority.
It needs to be as non technical as possible, with no acronyms, and tested for clarity on the lady who asked Dan, “no heat, why?”—NBC
