I am certainly no Spielberg but I did have some fun making these. If you have interest you can check it out below. If I have given any mis-information, etc. please feel free to comment. These are only to help provide some useful info.

    Great! A clear, understandable explanation of DHW thermostatic mixing valves.

    One comment, when you install a T&P valve in a tee like that make sure the sensing rod extends into the tank. Most manufacturers offer extended sensor version like this 8" Watts brand 100XL8.

    Thanks Bob I really appreciate the feedback. I will also check the model tag on that T&P, hopefully its the right one oherwise I will switch it out too.

    I much prefer setting the DHW temp on my De Deitrich Easymatic.. It has a Legionella timer on it, heats it up to 165 for an hour every week and then sets it back at night and advances during the day. How come TEKMAR doesn't do that? I only wish it had a contact for the recirc to clean out the pipes. What tempering valve do you have? My Honeywell is super inconsistent.
