Installation of Peerless ETC-3 Steam Boiler

My recent installation of a peerless ETC-3 boiler, on a one pipe steam system, is fired by a Carlin EZ-1HP Burner with a 0.65 gph nozzel - This is providing excellent heating. My system has an EDR of 236, while the ETC-3 has EDR of 289. My question is - How can I determine what size nozzel is optimum for my installed system? Or my I over-reaching for performance optimization?

thanks -cdm-

Over-reaching. You are never going to buy a boiler that matches the installed edr perfectly. Your only over by 53 edr. If it heats well no banging leave it alone.

You maybe one of the few that come on this site that actually had a contractor that can read

You're certainly optimistic @EBEBRATT-Ed . We haven't seen pics yet of the install!

We see such disasters, installers that can't read.

    Just being hopeful!!!!!

    53 EDR = 25%?

Well, it's probably the smallest steamer you can buy

Wouldn't it be a good candidate for down-firing? A 10 or 15% savings on your fuel bill could be spent on many better things.
