Crack in furnace ?

I was replacing my thermocouple and noticed a bit of a water drip. Stuck my phone in there a took a pic. How bad is the damage ?

    It won't buff out, you may want to start budgeting for a new one.

    How old is it?

    It's not an easy fix, of it can be pulled apart the gaskets can be changed but if it goes south you will need a new one anyway

    Understood. I’m located in Johnston Rhode Island and from what I understand it’s about time for a new one

    Thank you. I mean I know you can’t really tell but should I be calling someone to look at that ASAP?

    Also @New England SteamWorks is out of Rhode Island. You can find his information on other posts I am sure they can do a hot water job. Pictures of their work are excellent.
