Bigmouth Vent Status

Does anyone know what the availability status of the Barnes & Jones Bigmouth is? Amazon's listing until recently said they would be available on the 14th, and I ordered a couple. Now Amazon says "currently unavailable" and "availability unknown." Anyone have a clue? Thanks.

@Sailah said a couple days ago that a little birdie told him 50 were shipped this past week and more are coming.

I know a bunch were shipped, so yours will probably ship this week from amazon. They have plenty at the factory I know as well. I helped them get a bunch done before I left. They are adjusting to all my projects I left them lol.

How do I order the Vari-vent @Sailah ? I'd like to have two or three of those on hand.

Amazon and direct from B&J, if you call Andrew.

So I just want to be clear on this (even though I don't work there anymore...)

These were really intended for Heating Help members since it was a collaborative effort. My only options were to put them on Amazon since no supply house knew about them and I didn't want to be selling singles and taking credit cards.

Once supply houses get involved, the price will (probably) go up. We set pricing at what we felt was extremely competitive considering the custom machining and actual brass involved. Supply houses aren't going to get much of a discount, which in turn will get passed along to you.

So your best option is to buy singles on Amazon or if you are buying a few or more, call Andrew at the factory.

I would like to make a request that people who do call him, do so knowing he's really busy. I enjoyed speaking to many of you on the phone, but he doesn't have the luxury of BSing about your single pipe steam system. Sorry but that's the reality.

You can still call me though and I'll BS all day long B)
