Sight Glass Protection Sleeve

Hi Guys, Does anyone know where I can get a gift glass protection sleeve? They're usually thick cardboard tubes? Any ideas? Thanks!

    Was gift glass a typo?
    You don't really need anything.
    High pressure steam has a protective sleeve. And the glass is rated for high pressure.

    My thought would be to use and old paper towel cardboard tube and wrap it in newsprint.
    OR... A length of 3/4" pex w/ a copper cap on either end.
