it does happen.....
The circuit is closed at TT?0 -
WHAT IS THE TT0
-
TT are the terminals in the aquastat that the thermostat wires are connected to.
Are you assuming there's no power (115v) th C1,C2, or are you checking with a meter?
You can jump the TT terminals and see if the relay closes and the pump starts.
Question, that is a high limit only aquastat, so, does the burner ignite when you raise the thermostat or jump TT?1 -
and the answer was? lol homeowners"The bitter taste of a poor install lasts far longer than the JOY of the lowest price"0
-
everything works the zone valves open the furnace cycles on and off just the ciculating pump doesnt work theres no power at the pump conections checking with a test light for household current0
-
The TT circuit closes from the end switches on the zone valves.
B1,B2 is energized for the burner circuit.
No power at C1,C2.
You need a new aquastat.
If you don't have a low water cutoff on the boiler, look into an aquastat for gas like the Hydrostat or Aquasmart with a built-in LWCO. You'll have to change the well also.
