Warmboard

We have warmboard installed but need to go over it. 3/4" wood will be in some areas but we want to put tile else where. What is the best thing to use to raise the floor high enough to match the wood.

Typically a cement backer board goes over the WB for tile installation. The Hardi brand is either .025 or .040 thickness. how thick is the tile?

The wood supplier should have transition pieces to match the flooring to transition between the two materials if they are not exactly the same.

.42 hardibacker, by the time you thinset hardibacker, and thin set 1/4" tile should be a seamless transition. If tile is thicker than 1/4" go with 1/4" hardibacker.
