The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of the City of New York is looking for an instructor to teach at our Mechanics Institute. This is a paid, part-time, evening position.

Evening Classes Begin on Monday September 11, 2017
Classes Meet Two Times A Week
12 Week Semester

Here's the course we need taught:

EL-201, Introduction to the National Electrical Code

This is an introductory course on the use and interpretation of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Students will learn the purpose and history of the code; develop a working knowledge of the code requirements for wiring, over-current protection, materials and equipment; and be able to discern between wiring methods used in different occupancies, special occupancies, special equipment, special conditions and communication systems, and be able to use the NEC tables to size conduit raceways.
