DHW recirculation pump attachment

I'm looking at the Grundfos up10-16 recirculator, which does not have flange attachments. I have the option of sweat or NPT. Can anyone recommend a way to attach this with ball valves on each side that will make swapping out the pump quick and easy?

Also forgot to ask if anyone has experience with the auto adapt option on these pumps. Is it worth the extra money for this feature? Does it work well, or does it leave you with cold water occasionally u if you are up late at night?0

Either a couple sweat valves or you can find mip x sweat valves to thread into threaded flangesBob "hot rod" Rohr
