ecobee 3 wiring with true steam 509

I have a true steam 509 on a standard hydro air/airhandler w/ac and I want to wire a ecobee3 with one wire going to acc+ terminal. I believe I need a isolation relay to close contacts on hum and hum terminals on true steam . so i am thinking c fro airhandler to one side of coil on relay, the other side of coil to acc+ which should give me 24 volts when humidification is needed and then no contacts close hum terminals on truesteam which should start humid. and relay in true steam should power g terminal and turn on fan ? first time using for this application, has anybody ever done this or any help... thx.

Unfortunately, I retired 9 years ago, and I have no experience with the Ecobee. Go to www.customer.honeywell.com and check their literature for applying it with the new TruSteam. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Did you figure out your wiring?

I just purchased an ecobee3 thermostat and have an existing Honeywell TrueSteam humidifier and need help determining the wiring between the two and the furnace.

The TrueSteam has two HUM connections (not marked +/-), and the ecobee3 has Acc+ and Acc-.

Based upon the documents below, what should the wiring between the thermostat, furnace, and humidifier be?
