Ouch! I'll be looking for some steel-toed flip-flops for you. :~)

I can just see you jumping up and down yelling Oh flock!

Four days before starting my short career as a technician for the post office I walked up the front stairs in my sandles and nailed the nose of the top stair with my big toe - that stair didn't budge and inch. I uttered a few choice phrases (the woman across the street looked a bit startled) and hobbled into the house with the mail in hand. I soaked the foot in epsom salt and applied some ointment to the toe and a few gin and tonics to my bruised ego,

I spent the first few days on the new job hobbling around but luckily that first week was mostly safety training where you spent most of the time in a chair. Once I got out on the workroom floor after that first week I was walking 4-8 miles a night to reach the machines.

I read this in PM. Cute
And I would rather have my toes pecked off than be caught wearing Crocs.

Saying yes is only less expensive than a divorce monetarily. In other ways, it can be far more costly.

Coming up on our 42nd anniversary here, I say no more often than in the past. She hasn't died of embarrassment (or divorced me) -- yet. :)
