This weekend I am going to swap out my old Logamatic 2109 with the R2107. I am getting ready and going through the manual for the programming bits, but it talks about using a password to get into the 2107 service menu. Is there really a password and if so does anyone know what it is?

No password neaded. Just follow instructions where it states depress with pen (install key) while holding display key (torn page). Select American, and go from there.2

You can press the return arrow (bottom row), the 1...7, and the clock all at the same time to get in. Once you read "LCD TEST" you can let go.0
