Hello. {new to this site}
Our church has a 1,000 gal. propane tank when I stopped by yesterday I heard a dull banging noise. Walked up to the tank and it was coming from the regulator and the furnace was running. Have been around propane for years and have never heard that before and it is quite loud fact it sounded like it was quite away's from the tank but it is the reg. The tank has about 60% in it. Something common or not??
Thank You,

That's a new one for me. Suggest you have your propane supplier or heating technician check it out. Sticking regulator, plugged regulator vent, moisture in the gas freezing in the regulator or a furnace problem????0
