The ultrafin manual recommends spacing of 18" between the centers of the fins for water temps 100-150. Any reason not to decrease the spacing/increase the number of plates if you're using water temps in this range given how cheap they are? Seems like you might be able to bump the heat transfer a bit more, though obviously going to be limited by the delta between the water and joist bay...
