Our annual trade show is this Saturday April 8th at Foxwoods from 10 am till 2pm. We have over 60 vendor displays, free lunch, and raffle prizes. We also have a question & answer session with a panel of plumbing / mechanical inspectors from several towns around the state, and reps from the state inspectors office - the session starts at 9am.
I will be manning the CT PHCC booth; stop by and say hello......

Thank you, Dan! I know you have been a long time supporter of the PHCC and we appreciate it.
Our Connecticut group does important work behind the scene's on a daily basis - we sponsor a lobbyist as a watchdog at the State Legislature to help protect the rights of all tradesmen & women. We have a collective voice that matters. We helped the State licensing board develop curriculum for the required continuing education classes, and, we hold classes at several locations around the state.
CT PHCC does volunteer work; our latest project was with Homes for Our Troops in Bethany CT. We provided all labor for the plumbing & heating which included a radiant slab system - materials were donated at little or no cost by our associate members which are typically wholesalers and rep firms. The job was fun & interesting, only a few of us had experience working on a barrier free home. There are few greater rewards than meeting a young wheelchair bound veteran as he takes ownership of his new home!
I have made solid friendships through the PHCC, and enjoy sharing tips, techniques, policies, procedures, successes, and failures with my peers who focus on family, quality, craftsmanship, and training.......all at a cost equal to a cup of coffee a day.
