    This could make people afraid of the steam system in their homes. Fearing the living room floor will look like this any day now. The "responsible reporter" could point out that this is very high pressure steam unlike the 2 PSI or less in the typical home system.

    i saw a steam manhole cover get launched at the north end of the Summer St bridge in Boston one night. The guy who was driving over that cover when it let go may still be running for his life.
