I'll second that. That guy didn't read the manual. He reduced the 2-1/2" steam outlet to 2" with a bushing, which is a big no-no on a Dunkirk boiler.Fred said:I would say "When you don't know how to properly install a steam boiler".
Then there is a concentric reducer on the header before the elbow to the equalizer. This will trap water in the header.
