Water Quality testing, what tools are you using

I'm trying to build more confidence in general water quality testing. I need to calibrate my Hanna HI 98128, get the calibration solution stuff. The PH test strips see ho-hum.
What other tools are you testing guys using, TDS, any others? Chlorides?
I suspect water needs to be sent out if quality issues are really in question.
Much of our work is on public water, but we certainly have jobs with wells too.
Please share your general protocol, if you have such a thing.
Thanks for your comments
