    Why is it MIL-T-FBP seems to get ignored every time. They went to more trouble DOING IT WRONG!

    I feel really bad for the homeowner. At this point he must be losing his mind. And I apologize, but I can't stop laughing.
    Reminds me of the Aamco commercial from years ago with the 2 chimps banging away on the engine with wrenches. "I always wanted to fix a transmission."
    I'm sorry for your situation @mkantz. No homeowner should have to deal with repeated idiocy. Take it to the top of the contracting company. Bring the manual and pics.

    @Canucker You are right.

    That's an old Army expression that we used a lot at the manufacturing plant I worked at. The shop would make a chassis or heatsink assembly and our QC guy would go over it, circle the mistakes on the print and send it back for "modification". We even had a MIL-T-FBP stamp made up to save time.
