Boiler is feeding more often

I have a customer who is swearing the auto feed is feeding more often then it ever has. It's a 18 year old Burnham steamer. The mains are all insulated. I dropped the operating pressure down. Everything runs great. No signs of leaks anywhere. No errant vent valves.

Isolate the feeder (essentially turning it off). See if it actually goes off on low water and how long it takes.0

Turn boiler off. Remove a main vent. Fill boiler until water arrives at main vent tapping. Looking for water on the floor.
Likely, the rear section is corroded above the waterline and the water is going up the chimney in the form of steam.
If leaking replace.New England SteamWorks
