Fujitsu Halcyon outdoor fan error code - Can I reset?

We have an error code on our indoor unit indicating an outdoor fan problem. I have cleared the fan of ice and the blades move freely but I can not get the indoor unit to heat. I have reset the indoor unit remote and turned off the breaker to the outdoor unit but the error keeps flashing and there's no heat. Is there a reset on the outdoor unit or anything else I can do short of calling the installer? Thanks for any help.

    If the unit was able to run, it would drop the error code and start up. If after cycling the power off and back on the outdoor fan doesn't start I would say it is time for a service call.

    Flip the circuit breaker off to completely remove power to the unit. I think you need to let it be completely without . power for 30-60 seconds. Then power it back up. No guarantees, but this has worked for me.

    I just had this happen to me. Called service and they ended up replacing the fan under warranty.
