So this was our last 4 days, half of which you can't see. We installed several hundred feet of 3/4" FostaPex, eliminating some polybutlyne non O2 plastic piping.

We repiped two air handlers and one indirect out in the In Law portion of the 5000 sq ft house. One ahu was on the third floor, we got a bit lucky pulling new pex lines while tugging on the old lines.

4 zones of radiant and one finished basement bb zone will be piped in at some future date. The homeowners just bought this pad this spring and wasn't quite expecting a new boiler install, forget about running pex all over the home. We had to cut some Sheetrock in the garage to get to the in law ahu and indirect what.

Alpha circs are doing OK with the in law ahu and indirect. The original contractor had 007s for everything, even the 119 gal. We jacked it to a taco 0010.

We jazzed it up with old school flow checks.

The new job is a lot neater.

    Looks good.
Looking at the pictures again the old piping looked ok but the old wiring makes me nauseous. TG that got fixed.

I hate jumping from control to control to control with flex. Looks like crap and doesn't meet code using controls as a junction boxes.

I presume the non barrier PB allowed the O2 to kill everything?

Looks great. Much nicer then the old setup. I'm sure the new boiler will save them a good amount of money over its life time.

The non o2 or the old antifreeze or both, we found some sludge in bottom of old boiler. Other heat guys quoted a huge HX. I was probably the only one that dared to repipe the 3rd FL.
