Thermostat grommets

I'm having a hard time finding a supplier that sells these rubber grommets that you install into a ½" knockout on a Taco or Caleffi zone valve controller. It's rubber and I typically use a knife to make an incision to make way for a stat wire. Does anyone have a resource for these?

I got some over the summer at our local hardware store- used for running t-stat wires into a custom switch box.
They had a partitioned box with assorted sizes...0 -

Honeywell still supplies one with their relays, so I know someone out there is still making them. I too have been unable to track a supplier down. They work better than a plain open grommet, and I like them better than the plastic
Found something called an "auto body panel plug" which looks like it might do the trick

Someone on ebay is selling something that might work too

Sorry, I don't like any of them. My friends think I'm a whiny little B., but someone has to come up with something that makes sense.
It shouldn't be that hard to think of a thermostat wire penetration through a ½" knockout. And it could even corral 2 or 3 stat wires.
Someone could make a million bucks here, no?
BTW, has anyone else been distracted by these "Bad Idea T-Shirt" ads on the side bar?8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

You can buy continuous slotted grommet that you can use for any size hole, it's made of nylon so it's tough enough.
Just make sure you don't pay to much for it.

a romex connector upside down is clean look, add a plastic bushing on the treads, to really spiff it up.

I've been using plastic Romex connectors for low voltage since they came out. I find that the rubber ones that some with honeywell products turn soft and gummy. Made me switch to plastic.Serving Northern Maine HVAC & Controls. I burn wood, it smells good!0
