Looks like previous owners rarely if ever maintained the oil boiler after it was installed in 2004. Water radiators.
Just emptied about 20 gallons from oil boiler's expansion tank. Before that, the PRVs were dripping quite a bit. Draining the expansion tank resolved that. Getting it all tuned up, cleaned, and replacing a few worn chamber parts.
Question, should I flush the system and recondition the water since so much make up water has entered it? What are the risks, if any, if I don't?
