Thermostat set point is 70° and room temp is 70°. Turned Tstat up to 71°, after a minute room temp went to 71°. Raised to 72°, after a minute room temp went to 73°.
Seems like for some reason the Room temp is going up with the set point settings on the Tstat. Room temperatures hasn't change with the 3° increase. Is this a defective tstat or anyway to calibrate it?

No.
The actually temperature in the room doesn't change but the reading on the thermostat changes.0 -
Not unless the tstat is lying about how much it is overshooting the actual set point (which some of them do). What does a thermometer say, near the tstat?LionA29 said:@Fred
Mine does that, but it can't satisfy the thermostat in a 1 minute?!
3° jump and the boiler was running about 3 minutes then it satisfies but the actual room temp still remains the same.
The chill in the room still remains.0 -
Then something isn't right with that Tstat.0

What's behind that wall? Did you fill the hole for the wires with insulation?0
